Kenya Safaris Seasons

 

Peak season is June to October (Dry Season) – Best for spotting animals as they gather around water sources. This is also when the Great Wildebeest Migration happens in the Maasai Mara (July to September). January to February – Another dry period with great wildlife visibility and fewer crowds. Beach lovers, December to March is good – Warm and sunny along the coast, perfect for relaxing at Diani Beach, Watamu, or Lamu. For Budget Travelers, April to May (Rainy Season) is ideal– Fewer tourists, lower prices, and lush landscapes. Some lodges may close due to heavy rain

• We strive to offer accessible travel options. However, travelers with special requirements should communicate their needs before booking so that arrangements can be confirmed.

• Special Activities: Hot air balloon safaris, gorilla trekking, and nature walks.
• Drinking Water: Provided throughout the safari.
• Taxes & VAT: All applicable government taxes included.

 

Exclusive

• International Flights: Airfare to and from East Africa is not included.
• Visa Fees: Travelers must arrange and pay for their own visas.
• Travel Insurance: Guests are encouraged to purchase their own insurance.
• Personal Expenses: Shopping, laundry, and extra snacks are not covered.
• Alcoholic Beverages: Unless specified, drinks are usually not included.
• Personal items like Visa, Insurance, ,Souvenirs etc
• Optional Activities: Hot air balloon safaris, cultural tours, and other add-ons may require extra payment.
• Tips & Gratuities: Guides, drivers, and hotel staff gratuities are at the traveler’s discretion
• Additional accommodation before and during the travel
• Adjustments due to fluctuations in taxes and park fees

Liability & Travel Risks

• The Company is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by airlines, weather conditions, or government regulations.
• Travelers participate in activities at their own risk. While we prioritize safety, certain outdoor experiences (safaris, hiking, and boat rides) may involve inherent risks.
• Mowuarak Safaris is not liable for personal injury, loss, damage, or theft during the tour unless due to proven negligence.

Booking, Payment & Cancellations

• Deposits and final payments must be made according to our payment policy. Refunds, if applicable, will follow our cancellation terms.
• Changes to bookings may result in additional fees.

Third-Party Services & Force Majeure

• Mowuarak Safaris collaborates with third-party operators for accommodation, transport, and activities. We are not liable for their independent actions or policies.
• In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics), tours may be rescheduled, adjusted, or canceled with limited liability on our part.

Intellectual Property & Use of Content

• All content on our website, brochures, and promotional materials is owned by Mowuarak Safaris and cannot be reproduced or distributed without permission.
• Customer testimonials, images, and videos taken during tours may be used in marketing unless otherwise requested.
